LinkedIn® resume builder is retired
LinkedIn® discontinued its resume builder in June 2024. Build a resume from your own profile instead: every section, PDF and Word export, free.
Open your own profile and click the extension button. You get a resume draft with every section. Edit it, then export it to PDF or Word. It is free, and you need no account.
Your resume keeps these sections from your profile:
You decide what goes into the file. Hide what you do not need before you export.
ATS means applicant tracking system: the software that many employers use to read resumes.
AI does not change your text by default. You turn it on for one section at a time. You see each suggestion and accept or reject it.
A paid option is planned as a one-time purchase, with no subscription. It adds two more templates, a cover-letter draft from a job description and a larger daily AI limit. It is not available yet.
Your profile data stays in the extension’s storage in your browser. The PDF and Word files are made in your browser too. Your resume text goes to our server only when you use AI. That is a section rewrite or a cover-letter draft in Pro. We do not sell data.
Install the extension and open your own LinkedIn profile. Click the extension button. Edit the draft, then export it to PDF or Word.

No. There is no account and no sign-in.
Yes. You can export to Word (DOCX) or to PDF, for free.
The free template has one column and clean formatting, and it is ATS-friendly.
No. The extension works only on your own profile.
Only if you turn it on. You turn on AI for one section at a time. You accept or reject each suggestion.
It stays in your browser. When you turn on AI for a section, that section goes to our server and to an AI model provider. Our server keeps no copy of the text. The AI model provider handles it under its own data policy. A cover-letter draft in Pro also sends your visible resume and the job description.
Your profile page shows only the first entries of a long section. Open the "Show all" page of that section and read it with the extension too.
No. It is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn.
